Over the past few weeks, my heart was very burdened.. when I see people how people changed due to unforeseen circumstances. They didn’t want it to happen.. they didn’t expect things to turn out this way.. nobody did. What really keeps our fire and passion burning on? Where did the initial dreams and visions went? How do we really emerge victorious from all the pressures from life? Deep thoughts after thoughts. Guard our hearts O’ Lord, for out of it flow the issues of life. Open up the eyes of our heart, that we will see and remember the goodness and the grace of our God. Some things cannot be seen or touched, it must be felt with the heart. Have a heart of faith, have a heart of love. Renew our minds, for the mind is the greatest battlefield. Our faith in God must be an “in-spite-of” kinda faith.. in spite of the circumstances, we choose to trust and obey. Faith = Forsaking All I trust Him. Though at times we may not know what the future holds for us, we will choose to believe that all things will work out for the good of those who trust in the Lord. Let the love of God be the foundation of our passion. Let the oil of the Holy Spirit be that which keeps our fire burning strong. Let us not see with our natural eyes, but with the eyes of our hearts, that the visions and dreams will come to pass. God didn’t promise that our life in Him will be a bed of roses, but God promises that He will be there for us in our trials and tribulations. His grace is more than sufficient for us. Learn not to be self-sufficient, but to be God-sufficient. In Him, we can find the peace that surpasses all understanding; the love that overcomes all unbelief and doubts. In Him, we are made more than conquerors. Our God reigns. A broken and contrite spirit You will not despise.. we may fall, but God can lift us up once again, and we will arise. Don’t give up, for God has not given up on us. His love is eternal, one that never fails; He will never forsake us, nor will He ever leave us; that’s His everlasting promise to us. Keep smiling.. keep walking.. keep on keeping on! :)
